Openreach have just said that I can get full fibre broadband now.
There are no telegraph poles nearby and our existing line is underground, however some neighbouring streets have their fibre via poles.
We live in a small bungalow with a low pitched roof, so the apex is only about 4 metres off the ground. A telegraph pole would have to be right outside our window to reach us without being in danger of being brought down by lorries
If I order Fibre from Sky and openreach turn up and want to put up a massive telegraph pole outside our house or, even worse, a neighbour's., or I'm not happy about the route they want to take from the pavement to the house. Will I be able to cancel the installation before it goes ahead?

"UG partial Direct In Ground."
In your case openreach have already decided on an underground installation. The partial direct in ground refers to the possibility that they may have to lay fibre optic up to your house
