My new Router was delivered as promised. Connected using the new power lead and RJ! Cable. Have had no problems since so seems to have been the router and or cable issue. As a side note I had an issue with another full fibre connection at a village hall (commercial connection) the fibre had no connection at all. It turned out to be the power lead that caused the fault. So if you do get another router. Don't be lazy and use the old lead.

My internet is dropping throughout the day, every 30mins. I've reset multiple times and run service check which has not dedected any issues. Help!!!

I have same problem since changing to fibre drops both voice and internet regularly sky have replaced router but no better open reach tested line and say it's not the line so must be router .router signal is weak around the house and won't connect in several rooms so use wi if boosters which I bought this has been ongoing since July but I see its a common problem I suspect the black router is not up to working reliably I saw one other post where someone was sent a booster box but as yet they haven't suggested that I think from a lot of replies I get they just cut and paste the reply

@Woodie1306 I put the SR203 Black Broadband Hub back on as the Primary hub when back Early March2025 to sky, had it on 10 weeks to ensure the system was stable, in that time did not have one glitch that stood out as a problem to the sky Hub!

Using admin and sky or router password neither have logged in just says password will be sent unencrypted but no indication of where

@Woodie1306 Username is the word admin, the password is your info label back off the SR203 if you have not changed it yourself before to something else!

havent changed password. Only thing on sticker on back is wifi password and that used with admin doesnt work just goes back to blank log in and it doesnt work with "sky "either

@Woodie1306 The wifi one is the password, just make sure you are doing it as per what you see. admin is all in lowercase!

did exactly that and have logged into other routers but admin and wifi passowrd just flicks back to balnk log in

Come to conclusion that the standard router is just not fit for purpose at my location had no problems until changed to 300 mps fibre and now it is unreliable and does not even work in room below without a booster

@Woodie1306 Since your Fibre upgrade, did the hub change position by far to get on the new ONT that was fitted?

It did but it's sitting in open on a cabinet and very near a window sky had me photo it and said it was perfect position
