Hp laptop wont connect to sky max hub

My laptop wont connect to my new skybmax hub. All the other devices have. Inhave tried turning off and on, re booting and changing the security settings to WPA 2 and still no luck. Please help i need it for work! Had no issue with the older sky hub!

@Smorse  Does the laptop even see the Wi-Fi network from the new Max hub?

Hi, yes it comes up and I can't get as far as putting in the password but it won't connect  to the network. So frustrating!

Are you attempting to make a remote connection to work-related facilities?

No, just my home laptop to wifi

@Smorse have you tried just temp disabling one off the bands to get a connection, would do the 5Ghz band just incase the laptop does not like the possible higher frequency!

@Smorse Use this link from the tips above, as you have a sky max hub then you will do it all via your mobile app, be carefull to only do one band or you will lose all connection to the hub. Turn the band back on once you get the laptop to connect, they normally stick pretty well after that!

Thank you everyone. I went in again today to try and split the broadband...but before I could a box I have never seen before popped up and asked to connect which I did....now it's working fine!?!

No idea why or how but it's working which is the main thing!
