Sky Broadband ethernet connections stop stating.

Having problems since switching from BT, my work laptop is always connected via ethernet but recently I have next to no connection, dropping in and out from 53mb to zero, can't even do a speed test. WiFi works but can't hold a video call as it keeps dropping out. Any ideas. Yes I've switched router  off switched on, replaced all the ethernet cables and the ethernet is set at 1000GB on router.

See if you can run these tests:

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start


You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.


After this has finished and if it reports back all is good click on broadband to run an updated test. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.


If this is of no help give Sky a call to report it to them.

I have went through the Skyhelp broadband checker, saying all good. but when i try a speed test on both Bing and google i cant even register to start the test, aggain just hyaving a work video call and have been cut off due to no intyernet connection. disappointing that sky point you to a forum to get help. I tyried calling long wait and no answer.

@Gail01 What hub do you have and also what do you see on it, link below about the hubs and lights.

When you see that error on the page just refresh the screen, normaly kicks in and connection get's established, just a browser oops!

@Gail01 Get your laptop if that is what you are using off battery power connection and on to the mains, there is NO idea how your device is setup and stamina over everything else may just be killing speed and connection!

All lights are green across th board, tried all the trouble shooting methods, very disappointed that you cant talk to anybody on the telephone.

@Gail01 Taking a bit off time to draw out and piece together what you have, so now can you get and post exactly as you see from the link below the stat's for your hub. It will allow to be looked at the condition off how you line is. PM on the way to you watch your envelope!
