I'm sure people will say that the neighbour's wifi usage would not affect mine, but I have to disagree.
It's too much of a coincidence.
They are having a party today, and I assume using wifi for the music, and my internet has been down consistently all day.
It doesn't happen all the time and I don't mind if it's once in a blue moon, but tonight, in particular, I need to book tickets for tomorrow and am just lucky that I have some mobile data as I doubt it will stay on long enough.
I also, begrudge having to use all my mobile data stored when this happens as I need it for travel.
If it only happens when they are using wifi for parties, then it must be connected.
They live above me, it's cottage flats, so just the two flats. Our water is a joint supply, electricity is a joint supply etc. ( we have our own meters of course but it comes from the same supply.
I'm not very technical, and don't know how these things work, but it seems that it's just theirs that affects mine, not next doors or anywhere. ( That's how it seems)
When the music stops etc. All goes back to normal. It's not just coincidence.
I'm wondering if there is anything at all I can do about it please?
Change settings or something?
Thank you for any help
