HARDWARE VPN CISCO AND WHITE SKY ROUTER

Hi

 

i I cannot get, after hours with sky tech on the phone, my works Cisco vpn to connect via the new sky hub I got this week

 

it's a silver Cisco box ISR 1100 which I plugged into the back of my old black sky router with no issues

 

my work IT saying sky need to remove any fire walls from the sky router and ensure they allow us to build IPSec tunnels 

 

anyone help???

@felix2009 Can you not just put the old sky hub back on, or is there another reason?

Typically an issue associated with the Sky use of Map-T IPv4 address sharing on circuits with a Sky Max Hub.

Well upgraded to the new one as supposed to be quicker so would like to try and fix...

You need to follow the advice in the link above to get Sky to remove Map-T and provide a unique IP address (although this still won't be a fixed address as that's not available on domestic Sky broadband)
