Fibre poor signal around the house

I've just upgraded to fibre and was told that along with a new router and Pod, my signal would be better than with my previous black router and booster ( which I could get great signal all around the house and in the garden).

However I've had to plug the pod elsewhere to get signal in my daughters bedroom which means there's no signal in the garage/ garden where we spend a lot of time.

my question is can I switch back to using my black router and booster with sky fibre?

Hi @AdelleF

You should not have been told you would get better signal with Sky Max, its simply not true. Your speeds may improve using that router as it has WiFi6 but there is no evidence that it increases range.

If your old black hub is the upright SR203 then yes you can switch back to it as its compatible with full fibre.
