My PC and PS4 are unable to make an connection via Ethernet. I've tried different ports and cables and no luck.
The windows diagnostic says on IP assigned. So thought I'd log into the router and try a reset or atleast adjust some ethernet settings.
I've been trying may combinations but cannot log into the routers setting web portal.
Admin / PIN on card
admin / PIN
Sky / PIN

admin / Sky
admin / sky
Admin / WiFi password
admin / WiFi password
I've held the reset for 10secs, no difference. I've tried 20secs no difference. All in all I've been without ethernet for 3hrs now but the WiFi is working fine at a steady 65mbps. Restart of the PS4 or PC haven't helped.
New router in November, a stood up black one, replacing my old flat one. Doesn't feel warm, no damage externally, all cables in ports and not taught or stretched.
The only option left when 'googling' is the port has died, seems unlikely that all 4 ports would fail, and I've still got blinking green and orange lights on them.
All lights on the router and green and MySky says no problems.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@TATsimTV the log in for the upright black Sky hub is admin and the default wifi password on the label assuming nobody has changed the admin password but that doesnt change when you change the wifi password its a separate field. To factory reset the router hold in the reset pin until the power led blinks which takes up to 20 seconds release before that and the hub just restarts and wont change its settings.
In practice there are very few ethernet settings by default the hub wil have ethernet power saving off and the speed set to Gigabit you can enable power saving which is not advised and switch the speed to "fast ethernet" which is 100Mb/s.that is it from memory. All other settings like DHCP etc affect the WiFinand Ethernet interfaces.
Most likely your issue is with the connection from your devices especially if you are using anything other than direct cables.

I had had a similar issue on your ps5, i posted an article, here is the contents 🙂 - This issue also was stopping my ps5 from connecting to the ethernet at all, give these a try, hopefully it helps. Regarding the login, i use Admin, then my wifi password on the back of the box, if you have changed this, ensure to use the orignal only.
If you’re stuck with a Moderate NAT type on your PS5 and want it set to Open, here’s what worked for me. I struggled with this for days, especially when using an Ethernet connection via the Sky Pod Booster, but I finally figured it out.
What I Tried (What Worked and What Didn't)
My Setup
Wireless connections gave me Open NAT right away, but using Ethernet was more complicated and required these extra steps.
What Finally Worked for Me
Set Up Reserved IP:
Enable DMZ:
Change Wi-Fi Security to WPA2:
Avoid Static IP on PS5:
Test the Connection:

Thanks for the reply.
They are both directly plugged into the router, I've tried 6 different cables still no luck.
As for the router login. I did try admin and WiFi password and no luck. I've not accessed it since it was installed in November and the only one in the house that would have, so no idea, but if there's nothing really on there that helps no worries.
Just tried the holding for 20secs to reset and I now have a connection on both devices! So unsure what happened there, as I did that last night with no luck.
