Does 2nd router help

Our internet speed is really poor in my sons room for his ps5. Would buying a second router and having it in his room improve the internet speed in his room?

No, that wouldn't help at all. The appropriate hardware is a booster unit halfway between the current Sky Hub and the location needing reinforcement.

Even better would be a cabled connection.
