@bess011 forget about IP addresses they should be handled automatically. Reset the printer to clear its memory - Canion's website should tell you how then set up,the printer as if it was new. This normally works but if  you have a white Sky hub go into its advanced settings in the My Sky app and change tge WiFi security setting from WPA3-T to WPA2 which may sort the issue.

If you are trying to set up air printing from an iPhone once the printer is connected to the network see https://support.apple.com/en-gb/109349

Re: Adding a cannon printer

I don't have a white hub. My router is black and I've had it three years. Any idea how I can get my printer connect?

Re: Adding a cannon printer

Thanks for your answer but unfortunately the link did not help me. It gave options of devices having problem with and printers was not one of them.  If you had a different devise not listed then it suggested looking at the devises instruction manual. Which of course I have done and this is where I'm having the problem. So I'm back to square one.... 🫤

@Cazza16 there are multiple reasons why your printer might not be connecting. Resetting the printer back to its factory settings often helps as does temporarily connecting the printer to a laptop or PC and updating its firmware. If it is 3 years old it should connectvto thecdualband WiFi but if itvdoesnt try splittingbthe wifi bands as explained here Split Sky WiFi bands

Over tge years i havecspent  more hours than I wish to remember connecting printers to  WiFi networks its not a uncommon issue.
