@Dragons45Yep same issue here, left the sr203 plugged in overnight but still no internet just a solid amber light.

Plugged the BT hub back in and it connected after a while, @JimM1 mine is the smart hub 2.

According to openreach gfast isn't available at my property

what would an engineer visit do?

I am not sure what they will do. I will report back when the enginee has been.

Re: Activation day and wrong router

Well the replacement router has arrived but it's just another sr203, identical to the original router.

I have tried to call but unable to get through to a live human being who knows what to do.

Re: Activation day and wrong router

I finally managed to get through to someone at Sky at they were very confused by the BT router working (impossible apparently) and not either of the sky routers but i went through the process of resetting etc on the phone twice with no joy, then after the 3rd reset the replacement router decided to work.

The only difference i could spot was the firmware, which updated as soon as it connected to the internet.

@Dragons45would be interesting if your router is the same, maybe a bad batch?

Re: Activation day and wrong router

@Aspn Do the same test with the other router, there is NO reason what so ever for the SR203 not to work, FW update is just what happens when a new/fresh router is connected to the system. Bet the BT had them well scratching there heads! Latest FW is below.

System Details
ManufacturerSky
ModelSR203
Firmware Version7.04.0100.R
DSL Firmware VersionA2pvfbH043p1.d26u

Re: Activation day and wrong router

@Aspn @Dragons45 No doubt that SKY made an error sending out the unit's and who would expect that UK/ROI if that is where DE's are meant to go for, at least the Original ISP's units kept the system up while it was all being dealt with, been a good few postings now with wrong unit's sent...
