Hi, my adsl cable broke, so I purchased a new adsl cable from curry's but I can't connect to the internet. Do I need a 'sky' ADSL cable? Thanks

Any dsl rj11 to rj11 cable should work.

Does your new one have 2 identical plugs at either end ?

Do you have a photo you can post of the one you are replacing and the new one?

Had a look at the images. Yep that should work. How did the old one break ? Did you accidently rip it out of the sky hub or mastersocket?

Are the plugs going into the sockets ok?

What colour are the lights on the hub ?

All green or is the internet light off or amber

Certainly conceivable that if enough force was exerted on the cable to break it like that, the data port on the master socket faceplate could have been damaged too.
