Do you get sky Go with a stream sub?

The last time Sky Sports only was in existence the cost was £20 a month. That was before Sky Digital era.
Previous pricing was £2.99 £5.99 £9.99 I think, £14.99 £16.99 then £20.
At some point in the mud 90s those customers eventually had family pack added automatically
But Sport only without family pack is far better.

Because of my vulnerabilities, I've contacted the accessibility team by email but they replied to me that they're unable to help with quotes until the launch date. I've just replied to their email asking if they could put me in touch with the sky stream team. I'll see what they say otherwise I'll need to be patient and wait until the launch date, I guess.

Interestingly, since my order for Stream was placed on Saturday morning I've had full access to Sky Go on my Apple TV 4K box again. I don't have multi-screen/whole home on my sub, just Sky Go Extra, but it's giving me access to every channel, even those I don't and have never subscribed to. All the movie channels and sport channels are available to stream in glorious 576P, or a couple hit the dizzy heights of 720P. Some are even stuck at 480P... how lovely.
I presume it's a standard thing to get mainly new customers excited with all the content that's available and it'll be shut down as soon as I activate my puck... which is due to be delivered in about an hour.

If you're able to deal with people on the phone it seems the sales team could help you.

Just called and was offered the ultimate (basic lol) pack for £23 and sports for £20, but apparently you can cancel the former and still get the sports.
I'd suggest there's approximately zero chance that is correct. Add-ons such as Sport and Cinema always require the baseline subscription, and on Stream cancelling the baseline will render the device non-functional anyway.

That's also the case when new customers order Sky Q.

Indeed. I ordered Stream a week ago Saturday and had access to Sport, Cinema, etc. via Sky Go on my Apple TV right up to the point I activated my Stream box last Monday. The Sky Go app on the Apple TV also ceased to function, presumbably because I don't subscribe to multiroom.

I'll clarify this with the guy when he calls back. If it's not true I won't pay. But that is what he said

@Ed.B. I concur with @TimmyBGood in that you have been mis informed because with all sky products you can't have premuim content without the base pack first

No new thread for now... but it's here and it's connected.
Setup was very straightforward. Connected via ethernet, it updated to QS011 straight away without issue. Hardware version is IP061-ef if that makes any difference.
I logged into all the apps very quickly (Disney+ was the only one that required a long typing in of email address & password, all the others had handy QR codes) so that's the good stuff.
Very first impression was one of sluggishness. Compared to both an Apple TV 4K box and a Firestick 4K Max, navigation is just sluggish. Feels like everything is just happening a nano second after it should. Scrolling up and down the home page too, already feels like the box is struggling.
Picture and sound quality seems fine - the same as Q. No noticeable difference.
Other irritations - I don't like the feel of the remote.
The menu system is poor - having to scroll right to the bottom every time to get to settings - is there a shortcut?
No frame rate matching on apps. I knew this was the case but it's poor. Locked to 50 or 60Hz same as Q. The apps feel similarly sluggish to the main UI. Netflix, Disney+, Prime, Apple TV+ all open and navigate quicker on my other devices & TV apps.
Lip sync is bad. It was the same with Q but you can similarly set a delay... BUT - you don't seem to be able to have the delay increments on screen while you change them to see when lip sync is achieved. That's a pain.
Will fiddle more later to see how things improve, but I'm supposed to be working right now. It may just need to settle and have a few reboots before it's running at its smoothest, but yeah, it's about as mediocre as I was expecting.
