Re: Who's switching from Q to Stream?

So I have stream all set up and so far it's good. Takes a little getting used to but getting there.

However, what's with ITV ? Watching it is painful at times. It freezes regularly and only changing channel and going back to itv seems to work ?

it's not my wi-Fi -all other channels work fine and I have 450mbs internet.
also the itv hub - you can't fast forward - is that right ?

Hi, The itv hub app is truly shocking and will soon be replaced with itvx, until then we have to live with it.

I highly recommend you getting the free trial for itv hub+ the experience is like chalk and cheese no ADS no FF. All4+ is worth getting too.

Re: Who's switching from Q to Stream?

Its been over 4 weeks since I have setup my Sky Stream devices.

I still have my SkyQ and mini devices with me, are we supposed to receive return packaging to post these back to Sky?

Re: Who's switching from Q to Stream?

When you have activated Sky Glass or Sky Sky Stream

Sky send pre paid packaging to do the return of Sky Q and Minis after 31 days

I got the return packaging sent to me 33 days after I got Sky Glass Instaled

So you should expect post from Sky soon

Sky Glass 65 inch and 2 Sky Stream Pucks
Gigabit Siro 100% Fiber Broadband with Digiweb
1000 Mbps download and 200 Mbps upload speed
I only use wired ethernet with Sky Glass and Sky Stream Pucks

Re: Who's switching from Q to Stream?

My Q contract ends at the beginning of March. Is there any indication that if I try and negotiate a new deal they will offer better deals on stream than Q?

Depending on your package it's more likely you'd get a better deal on Q than Stream. If you like Q and it works for you then I'd still recommend sticking with it. Losing recording can be a bit of a shock to the system for some people who switch and Stream is still plagued with issues which can make watching TV a less than pleasurable experience...

Re: Who's switching from Q to Stream?

Thanks, I currently pay £67 for Entertainment, Kids, 2 football channels, Multiroom, HD, UHD and Netflix UHD. I probably would prefer to stick with Q but hopefully I can ge them down to around £40-£50.

Re: Who's switching from Q to Stream?

I spoke to "  Antonio" at Sky today, I was interested in moving to Stream as I am decorating the exterior of my home soon and it would be an ideal time to ditch the dish.

I would need Stream and 2 Pucks for multiroom, unfortunately it would cost me £20 extra per month, it is not worth it for me, at this time, perhaps in the future if the sums add up.
