😂😂😂😂 ain't that the truth bro!!! Yeah that slogan makes me laugh lol....there excellent at breaking TVs...that's about it lol.... honestly...it was disgusting the way the first 2 were treated.... properly manhandled.....the only reason why they was so careful the third time was that I put in a while complaint to sky.....also, I still reckon that the second TV that they gave me was one they were meant to take back you know....you could tell it wasn't brand new....the marks that were on it etc ...as they were pulling it out the box, there were OLD grubby finger marks all over it...but in places that are not where you'd hold it while picking it up....looked like kids had had their hands all over it....but hey...who am I to question them when I'm paying over a grand for the bleddy thing......

Sorry if this is the wrong thread (however, my Sky Glass pic also isn't very 'sharp!)

when I got my TV & puck last week I didn't receive a remote for the second tv (the one that will use the puck) and I can't set it up? Is this an oversight or am I just a bit thick?

any help would be appreciated 🙏🏻

Did you get a remote for the Glass TV and a remote for the puck? Both should have come with their own. The TV you attach the puck to will need it's own remote to select the HDMI input you connect the puck to, then you'll need to pair the puck remote to the puck & TV by following the instructions. 
If you didn't receive a remote with your puck then you'll need to ring Sky and ask them to send you one as it must have been an oversight.

The only way I improved the picture was to send it back and buy an LG OLED the difference is night and day..

Currently watching the cricket in UHD. The picture is very sharp but so DARK! it's like the cricket is being played in the evening. 

Am I missing something?

Conversely watched some football on bt sport, the stream was UHD casted to my Chromecast ultra, it was fantastic sharp and BRIGHT! 

I would have thought skys own broadcast of the cricket would be good but it's terrible.

One of the posts listed what way to put your picture settings and it improved my tv picture 100%. I can't find it but if you search through I'm sure it will be there

@AUS191 first setting to change is switch off the Auto Backlight setting in Settings/ Picture and Sound.

The UHD cricket is in HDR and can  appear dark if you have set the TV to a very high brightness for SDR (normal broadcasts) set the backlight in the Settings/Picture and Sound/Picture/Custom settings around 60 which allows the TV to increase the setting when switching to HDR. If set to a higher value HDR pictures will appear dull.

While not a brilliant HDR performer my Glass looks OK for UHD sport so it can be fixed.

With all due respect your wrong. QLED has always been brighter than OLED. One of the main issues with OLED to begin with was low peak brightness. Qled is still the brightest tvs you can get. I have a Samsung QLED 55IN and it nit brightness is 1500nits and I have a second which is 2000 nits. Only the past 2 years have OLED started to get brighter so either you read it wrong or someone told you wrong but OLED is not higher peak brightness than QLED. do not judge QLED by the glass tv which I also just took possession of. This tv is an extremely low budget tv made with premium materials for the frame but then inside is just a cheap QLED panel. My Samsung screens are supper bright and look incredible but I paid a lot for them.

It has only been recently that OLED could even reach 1000nits which samsung QLED has had since 2015 or 2016.

Also where did you read OLED has to be higher nit count than oled. No OLED was limited by the technology so couldn't reach true HDR nit performance and as I said only the past 2 years have LG been able to get the OLED panels too 1000 nits which again QLED Samsung panels (Samsung own qled tech) have had since my first Qled Back in 2017 when it was called quantum dot then they rebranded it QLED as if it was some new tech lol. Samsung now offer tvs with 2000nit brightness and I believe one higher than that which OLED can't get anywhere.
