Well got my first call back still no movement from the back office.

Anything related to Sky simply goes through the internal complaints process. Once exhausted, and the outcome is unsatisfactory for the customer, Sky will issue / or the customer can request a deadlock / final decision letter. The case can be referred to the ombudsman without a deadlock letter only after 8 weeks has passed from the date the complaint was logged. 

Sky use CISAS as their nominated ombudsman service. They contact both parties and gather all evidence, including call notes, call recordings and general case history. It's good practice as a customer to note down the names of agents spoken to, times, dates etc to aid their case. 

If CISAS find in favour of the customer, whatever decision they take is binding on the company (in this case Sky) and they must honour it within a specified timeframe. This resolution can include anything from an apology to a monetary reward for inconvenience. It must also be officially reported in the company's reports. All costs are covered by the company too.

My nightmare continues still waiting on back office for a fix been 7 days they had it now only.suppose to take three days only.no sign on a answer to my complaint lol

@Totalwar2  Have they acknowledged your complaint, providing they have acknowledged it then all you can do is wait as they have upto 10 days to respond

I just been told that the back office can't do anything to fix this issue.So I have to wait until the subs I cancelled on the 24th of November.This is after them telling me they could.There IT system not fully up and running for Sky Glass there issues they still working because it not fully up and running as it should be.

Well I decided to send back Sky glass TV hope I don't have any problems doing this been a bit of a nightmare so far.By the time my cancellations go thought on the 24th be very close of the 30 day limit.I still want to go back to SkyQ hope there no further problems with that.I got myself a new LG 55' OLED really please with and I use my sky sound box when I get my sky Q box working again.

 

Anyone else had such a long wait to get back to Sky Q after signing up to Sky Glass?

Yep.  Still awaiting them confirming they're coming to collect my glass tv.  It's because i cancelled sky sports on the first day.  Now they can't cancel the glass till that expires.  However i have been 100% promised that even if it goes over 31 days (it will, as it takes 31 days to cancel sky sports, and i did it the day after receiving the tv) when they cancel my glass, they will still allow me to "change my mind".  I am now on freesat with the obvious options of now tv, netflix etc.  It'll do for me.

Nothing can't do anything until cancellation finished on the 24th of November.

I phoned sky got moved back to sky a the only problem I have now is they don't know how they sort out for my sky glass to be returned
