As long as you've told them you're cancelling, it won't matter a jot what finishes when. You're well within your 31 days to let them know, anything over that is their problem (not that I'd expect Sky to try anything else mind).

Presently using Sky Q with Sky glass TV (I bought mine outright). Everything works except that the Q remote can't be linked to the TV so you can't control volume etc. When I cancelled, I was within the 31 day cooling off period and my previous Q contract had been cancelled ( you can't have 2 Sky contracts running side by side). When I phoned up to cancel, I was able to take out a new Q contract at a saving of £10 a month compared to the old contract. Another 18 months but its difficult to find a provider that supplies the same content as Sky and recording capability if you can't get cable. The TV set itself is fine with good graphics and sound. Sky Glass TV is going to need a LOT of work before it becomes mainstream. 140 missing channels, no recording facility and the worst interface I have ever seen on a TV.

@Chrisee You can have Sky Glass TV with Sky Q.Could you change the Answer because it wrong.

@Totalwar2 it is impossible for me to edit a post from over 3 weeks ago. At that point it was unclear if Sky would permit Q to be used with a Sky Glass TV in dumb mode . As you have proved they will but to be crystal clear you cannot have both Sky Q and Sky Glass subscription on the same account.

@Chrisee It's ok I edited found out how.The question was can you use Sky Q with a Sky glass TV.Yes you can.

Well the saga continues I was due a call back today from sky but no call back and my last subscription was due to finish today but still active..I Stuck in limbo with 65ins glass tv which I now had for over 31 days and a puck.I was given a refund for last month's Subscription.I still can't get back to Sky Q and paying for a service not watching and can't get rid of.I made a complaint to sky but still waiting for a reply.
I connected my Sky Q box today but the network connection not working do sky switch it off if the no current subscription on the box?

Phone sky again today my last subscription didn't end on 24th of November and no call back again.I been told that I get a call this Monday and should be able to send sky glass tv and puck back and restate my sky Q.
I really losing the will to live been on going now for nearly five weeks.Sky needs to do better.

Well 5 weeks now still got no where in regards to sending back Sky Glass TV and Sky Puck.The subscription Whole home still active.they saying should go off on the 27th of November but as you can see from photo.It should of been the 24th of November.The rest of the subscriptions have been cancelled.I in limbo can't do nothing.So be warn Sky are becoming like Virginmedia in the old days utterly useless.They used to have major problems in cancelling your subscriptions and package.

Send an email to sky CEO Dana strong. That's what I did, it gets picked up by the executive team. They are fantastic. Her email is readily available on Google

Well due call back from sky confirm the call back by two other customer services visors didn't get got a text instead.I Suffer from mental illness this is really pushing over the edge.hours on the phone get passed from one department to another.promise to call back most of the time they don't Been going on now for five weeks anyone else been waiting this long for your sky glass subscriptions to be cancelled.

Thanks this has been escalated to Sky already.Just spoke to sky who say there nothing they can do until .my whole home Subscription has been cancelled. Sky advises can do nothing computer says no the back office can do nothing. So what am I supposed to do I don't know I've got no idea.
