@IanS63 Try the following
Follow the instructions you see onscreen when launching the Discovery+ app on your Q box
Select log in
You'll be taken to the screen with the activation code and a new URL link for Discovery which is https://auth.discoveryplus.com/gb/link you need to do this part on your mobile, tablet, laptop etc
Log on to your Discovery+ account
Enter the activation code - this will activate your Sky Q box/Sky Glass

Done all that and get to the "You're all set" message but when I try to watch anything I get taken to the "reactivate your subscription' screen as per @pldodd78 first post which only gives the option of paid subscription.

@IanS63 I ended up actually subscribing to a Discovery Plus payment plan (€5.99 a month).. voila, I'm watching Discovery Plus on Sky Q right now.. I am on the 7 days trial with Discovery Plus so I'm expecting to have to pay after the 7 days trial.. and, so be it, I've spent the last week trying get Discovery plus to pair up with Sky Q and then when it finally did I had to subscribe 🙄 one of the Sky employees got back to me and, fair play to them, they said Discovery Plus are investigating why some people are getting the 12 months free straight away and others are having to sign up.. they did say that Discovery Plus might be able to get a work around to it, while they investigate.. I honestly can't be bothered with getting in touch with Discovery plus as they gave me a runaround the last time I tried getting things sorted.. but that option is available to you if you want to try.. hope that helps 🙂

I had similar issues, I did a password reset on the discoverplus website (don't remember ever setting up a password), entered the code and all working now.

The exact same thing is happening to me. I had paired up successfully a few weeks ago. Came to watch Discoveryplus this evening and greeted with the update info. I've tried:
logging in
activating (already activated)
signing out then back in
I actually thought it had worked as I got 'You're all set'. Selected what I wanted to want but now it's askng me to ,reactivate my subsubscription' and the only options are pair for ones when it's meant to be 12 months free. Is there anyone that can help at all please?

Can’t log into discovery+. Had engineer round two weeks ago and it took him 2 hours to do it but now lost again and can’t do activation code

I follow all the instructions and go to http://www.discoveryplus.com/link and just get a blank page! Help please.

@Shemj try either clearing your browsers cookies or using a completely different browser some people have got it working by using firefox for me google chrome works fine

Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox all the same result - "You're all set" then try to watch any programme and I go back to the "Reactivate you subscription" as per original post

I was getting this but then I downloaded the Discovery + app on my iPad and logged in and it worked. Went back to the Sky D+ app and that was working as well so it looks like it unlocked something using the app on my iPad. I might have just been lucky.

Same is happening to me "reactivate your subscription" screen with instructions to follow, which lead nowhere. Mine has not worked since xmas. Tried everything.
