@Cazamaline Try the following

Follow the instructions you see onscreen when launching the Discovery+ app on your Q box

Select log in

You'll be taken to the screen with the activation code and a new URL link for Discovery which is https://auth.discoveryplus.com/gb/link you need to do this part on your mobile, tablet, laptop etc

Log on to your Discovery+ account

Enter the activation code - this will activate your Sky Q box/Sky Glass

@johnwillie7  it took ages, and had the help of someone from Sky that was introduced through this thread and it opened up a direct chat...... i should have screenshot the instructionsbut basically despite doing all the usual guidelines/links I had to log out of discoveryplus on my mobile/laptop, then log back in using the sky account I created, then once it worked and I could watch a programme  on that I reset my Sky Q and router (turned it off and went for a walk) then re started it all, logged back in to the app on sky q and it was all ok. I still think the sky chat person did something behind the scene as i had tried all that before but it worked but took about a week to resolve. Hope that helps
