@Big+jeff  Luck of the draw, there is very little the forum can do.  If you don't like the offers look elsewhere.

Sky are a business after all and can't give away premium stuff, so yes they can afford to lose customers as there are plenty of new customers to take your place.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Something might come out of the woodwork during your notice period.  They're not obligated to offer you a deal, of course.

When you have left you will probably get "Come back to Sky" as that is how it works, Sky are not forced to offer you anything so if you don't believe what they did offer is value for money then you are right to go elsewhere.

If it's £24 more than you currently pay then you must have had a cracking rate.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own

It's a risky strategy to play. I tried it with VirginMedia, and they said go if you want, so I did. That said, Virgin called at the last minute and offered me a deal to stay. I refused, they said I'd regret it! It was the best move I made, I'm still paying less now to Sky than I was to Virgin in 2018.

Sky are ok about letting you go.  There are stories that they'll do anything to retain you if you threaten to leave, but they know that if you're not in a Virgin served area, you'll be back.

It worked with me, I hated FreeSat so much I had to get Sky back again.
