I was hoping that I could pair my laptop or iPhone so that I can use screen mirroring but unfortunately they are not supported.

I have to say the latest Sky Glass update has been a success for me, the picture is improved, the playlist is better and the addition of Bluetooth is also welcome.
Normally for me, any software update seems hit-and-miss, but this one has worked, I hope I haven't cursed it by praising it.
Just get Talking Pictures on Sky Glass and that would be a big win for me.

A few people have reported that picture quality on the Glass TV has improved since the last update, personally I see no difference 🤔
To my knowledge Sky are yet to release the update to enhance the picture although it is due before the end of the year - am I wrong?
Is there a placebo effect happening with QS12? 🫣

I thought the mooted picture upgrade was fixing the auto backlight adjustment

I'm not sure and perhaps the picture quality is better I just don't see it much 😁
I did read this from a new article yesterday:
"The highly anticipated Picture Quality software upgrade for Sky Glass hasn’t been pushed out yet, unfortunately – but we’re still hopeful it will be released before the end of the year."

Hi
I have some Bluetooth ear buds but I can't get add new device to see them in Sky Glass. Is there a special list of devices that will connect via Bluetooth?

Probably not: the Glass test team may well have an idea, but typically that information is not made public. It does appear that Glass currently struggles with some Bluetooth devices, and there's such a proliferation of cheap Bluetooth chipsets around that checking even a small proportion is basically unfeasible.

Had a call with Sky team a few days back and was told that the new update will be out in the next two weeks with some already having this. Version 15 will be the one. This will have the picture update 😄

I found a pair of ear buds that worked with sky glass but only for one night. I can't connect them now as it doesn't recognise them. Just keeps coming up with my sisters tv.

@viking19 Do the ear buds conform to the A2DP BT Standard? That's the only spec the tv will support

Hi - my Sky Glass is fully updated and shows the Bluetooth connectivity feature - unfortunately this still does not enable Bluetooth connection of cochlear implant processors. My view is the design of Sky Glass is retrograde and discriminatory and audiologists are appalled that Bluetooth connectivity is not facilitated.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreHi @Nplp That feature would be good for many people with hearing impairment (I have standard hearing aids).
Unfortunately as it currently stands Sky Glass will only accept the A2DP standard devices/headphones.
