Hi a new release of firmware has started rolling out . The main highlight at least to me is the local area dimming option now does something on the Glass TVs. Initial tests shows it does help improve blacks but it is not as effective as similar system on a Panasonic TV I used to own. More viewing required to know if it really works.
Bug fixes I think are included is a fix to the HDMI - CEC issue that caused issues with ARC connected sound systems on some TVs. I think there is also a fix to the picture break up around the boundaries of on screen graphics that UHD sport was prone to. Neither of these have been confirmed by Sky but they have been hinted at.
The roll out maybe a bit quicker, assuming nothing goes wrong, as Sky freeze firmware releases from mid December to mid January.

@Anonymous you could have read this thread as most are mentioned there but to save you that effort
1) the local dimming feature on Glass now works bringing significant picture improvements.
2) there are changes to restart with new less obtrusive gaphics and extended time the function will work
3) the UHD picture break up issue is addressed
4) the CEC issue on Stream which affected ARC appears to be fixed.
5) tweaks to the remotes firmware to improve performance
Whether you consider that significant is down to you but as an owner of a Glass TV the picture improvements are most welcome. So far the various fixes are working.
I noticed this morning new firmware on Sky Glass and Sky Stream Puck
Software version
QS013.007.00P
Not checked fully yet to see what's new
Some new features might not be activated yet
@Paul+Boland I have merged your post to this existing thread that is discussing the same subject, a new thread isn't required.
Chrisee post was not listed in thread at that time when I had started to create my post
I started to create my post around 11.10 AM but did not complete it until 11.16 AM
It was only after I clicked send on my post that I seen Chrisee post was already done
@Paul+Boland dont worry these things happen.
Interestingly after resetting the picture settings the blacks look better than when I tested this morning but I can't test properly until it gets dark. Certainly HDR content which looked horrible at first looks far better after a reset. I am using the Movie mode preset to test with the auto-backlight function turned off.
Overall my Glass TV does look a lot better with the new firmware.
I notice with this new update that the 'Watch from start' option is now smaller and more subtle showing in the bottom left corner, rather than the banner right across the screen.
Also BBC 1 and BBC 2 now show in the 'restart what's on' across the top of the TV guide (which I don't think was there before?)
Not noticed any other diffences on my stream puck yet!
Still no sign of the personalised playlist profiles?
if they are not in this update I can't see them initiating it until January as per your comment on a freeze on updates.
@Anonymous you should be getting 12 soon then ........
@Rich85 I'm still on qs012 and the bbc has been added to the restart on the tv guide this morning so this must have been added in to all devices without having to update firmware
@Chrisee I must have had a psychic moment last night, wondering if QS013 was coming out.
@Jporch316 Can't wait for QS012!
With QS013
Sky Glass
Picture Settings
Auto Backlight Adjustment the Sky default has now been been changed to be set to off
Previously the default was set to on and we had to set this to off
If you do a reset of picture settings you will notice this remains at off
In custum setiings
Local Dimming now works you can notice a difference if to set to on or off
I kept mine to on the default
Sky Glass
I have noticed a improvment in picture quality with content in UHD and UHD HDR/Dolby Vision and also HD live broadcasts
Playlist
Live:Formula 1 is now bit messed up though showing latest as 141 mexico
Abu Dhabi and Brazil missing from Live:Formula 1
Abu Dhabi and Brazil race broadcasts is instead in Formula 1 in other but was previously listed in Live:Formula 1

That's an interesting choice: I wonder how much it changes the power consumption figures.
Does this fix the issue with not being able to use playlists ?
Surprised they released this now figured there wouldn't be one till mid jan now.
@Anonymous @CardiffMan1992
Mostly to get the revised FALD algorithm in place, I'd think, as that got a fair amount of press attention.
