why have sky done away with never miss something good and got rid of it

  I was wondering, what if we, the community users were to set up our own Never Miss on this forum? For example, I see that Das Boot S2 starts next week as does Agatha Raisin S3. We could have a NM thread on the What's On board that we all contribute to when we notice a new season is starting or a brand new show, giving details of what day & time it is on & the channel it will be on. We could ask one of the nice Sky moderators to pin it to the board for easy access.

  I realise it will be us doing Sky's job for them & it won't be quite the same as the old NM, but it would be better than nothing. Would any of you be willing to contribute to this ( it isn't something I could do on my own like I did with the Box Sets thread btw )?

In addition to what you've advised, I can tell you that by my calculations, the next series of Wentworth starts on 28th July.

   Like many people we found never miss so useful, why dont sky discuss plans with customers and get their thoughts, the 1st we know is when we come to use it again.

@ pault1964  My Holby didn't record either, despite it being on series record since I got my box several years ago, it usually picks up when its been off for a week or so but not this time and I missed the beginning so have set it to record in the early hours on Monday morning on BBC2.

@Anonymous I am happy to help contribute, but how will it work? Is it just the case of as we see a new season come on whether new or old, we post it up with the channel and date? 

And how will we know if a certain program is coming back on, can we search for key words in a post? i know we can subscribe to the post but as it gets more popular this may not be the best idea with getting notification after notification. 

As for the group side of it, i think it's the least the powers that be of this group can do is pin the post to the what's on tab, anything they can do to help us in my opinion.

I just added a comment about Das Boot, and if you are in the what's on forum and search "Das Boot" then the never miss thread comes up, guess if someone see's the never miss then they know it's in there. Just don't know at the moment as it get's more popular how easy it will be to find the comment.

Sorry but this suggestion is a million miles away from Never Miss 🙁 and will require too much effort for very little gain

Is there any chance the post can be pinned so at least people can see it quick and easy 🙂

So rather than going through the new series list on the Sky Box/sky+ app you go through your thread? I'm not seeing any extra benefit 

By the way, individuals can pin any thread they want you don't have to get sky to globally pin it

@Annie+UK ah so that does it for all members to see at the top? I just thought that was pinned to the top for only me as it says "current user"
