@Annie+UK ah so that does it for all members to see at the top? I just thought that was pinned to the top for only me as it says "current user"

Thanks.

Sky have to pin/float threads for all users but the option above gives people the option to pin/float any threads they want, I float/pin threads that I want to keep a close eye on that most users would not want floated/pinned

Re: Epgservices sky never miss

I strongly agree with others on this thread. Never Miss was very useful and I relied upon it. Extremely hacked off with Sky for taking this service away with no reasonable explanation, not advising us prior AND not even letting us at the very least retrieve our list of films and programmes we had loaded up on it.

@Annie+UK  it's a start surely, looks like SKy aren't gonna bring it backanytime soon so we need to do something.

Is there any chance the post can be pinned so at least people can see it quick and easy 🙂

So rather than going through the new series list on the Sky Box/sky+ app you go through your thread? I'm not seeing any extra benefit

By the way, individuals can pin any thread they want you don't have to get sky to globally pin it

If the new series section included all new and returning series from all channels it would be good enough unfortunately it is very selective in what it shows.

Re: Epgservices sky never miss

Can I request that people only post new series on the thread with no thank yous etc otherwise we'll be inundated with useless notifications.

Re: Epgservices sky never miss

Can you please add a link to the new thread.

TY

Re: Epgservices sky never miss

@Annie+UK  What we want is for it to be permanently pinned which I think is different from floating to the top. I used to have to ask Federica when she worked on that side of things to permanently pin a thread for me, it wasn't something I could do myself.

Thanks for dissing my idea btw, I had already said it wouldn't be the same but at least it's something. If you take a look it has already taken off with great contributions from @lettice  who has posted with programmes starting in July.

Hopefully the mods can pin it.

@whiteonline  Cheers for doing that, it's already taken off. I hope you don't mind but I hijacked it for a moment to ask for a slightly better name for it & for it to be permanently pinned. We used to be able to send a PM to the moderators but I wasn't able to ( maybe it's because I'm not an Oracle anymore? ) so I had to post on the thread itself.

Small point with what you've added to start it off, you neglected to add the channels for Das Boot & Agatha Raisin. The way @lettice  has done their posts is very good, maybe follow that example? I'm not putting you down in any way, hope you realise that, simply trying to make it the best it can be.

No, it's called negative feedback. As the saying goes, if you haven't got anything good to say........

It's still legitimate feedback, rather rude to try and hush people just because they don't think your idea is all that good

Had a phone call from Jeremy Darroch's office today, following my email to him.

The lady who phoned openly admitted that she had never heard of Never Miss until she had seen "all the emails about it". So, they are getting through, I'd suggest anyone who hasn't already sent one to do so.

By the end of the call, she was very aware of what Never Miss did and, more to the point, was equally aware that nothing else that Sky provides comes close to replacating it. She even said that it sounded like a very useful tool and "I wonder why they removed it". I pointed out that, if she worked in Mr Darroch's office, then she could always ask him.

Anyway, she said that she would try to find out why it had been removed, whether she does or not (and whether she relays that information) remains to be seen.

Re: Epgservices sky never miss

@Anonymous yes i forgot to add the channels, i realised after, but think it's too late to edit it now., as for the name there were several i was thinking about, but it needs to be clear that it is of a same nature as Never Miss. and i tried to get it pinned and was told i could pin it myself which simply isn't the same thing, i want to pin it for all to see otherwise what is the point?

Re: Epgservices sky never miss

So annoyed that this service has been removed. I used it regularly as who has the time or want to sit and scroll through the EPG each week. Rubbish customer service to not be notified of this in advance either, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised 🙄

Re: Epgservices sky never miss

@whiteonline  I think you only get a couple of hours to edit a reply before that facility is taken away. I have asked for it to be permanently pinned which is very different from floating to the top, & Lisa ( Sky ) is looking into it. I did suggest a couple of names, maybe you could add yours for consideration?

Re: Epgservices sky never miss

@Anonymous  Yeah no good floating it. although if it's this popular then it might not need pinning as it will always be at the top. Still don't know how we are gonna figure out when a new season is out though, we can't trawl through all the posts.

Name wise, i thought similar to yours, but just thought it would be easy to keep it simple.
