Kerrang isn’t on 358

It is due to an ongoing issue that started last weekend at a company called Red Bee Media:

Kerrang is missing from my TV guide and box is in its place is there any way I can watch kerrang still or has it gone for good?

Issue is still continuing today you press the Kerrang channel but the box channel is playing and also when you press to watch one of the box channels the Kiss channel is playing.

We have noticed that channels 358 Kerrang, 357 Magic and 355 The Box are all The Box. 

356 and 354 are both Kiss.

Please advise what action can be taken to resolve this issue.

@poppins45  If you would please read the thread it has already been explained.  You cannot do anything to correct it.

Kerrang, Box Hits, Magic and 4Music are all off air due to a fire at a transmisison centre on Saturday 25th September. The channels will return but no one can say when, or even give an estimate. 

Perhaps Sky could  encourage  the owners (Channel 4) to update the programme listings on these channels, to explain the technical problem? 4Music has been done but the other affected channels still have normal listings.

I'd suggest that's not necessarily going to be the case, given that 'music television' is now a meaningless phrase for a whole chunk of the population.  There are probably some interesting financial calculations being argued about...

Aye i was wondering why 2 channels just had the technical fault, working to resolve sort of message for about 3hrs that night.

However Kerrang is playing the box stuff as well as Magic which is also playign the box (3 channels playign thje same thing) Kiss is also playing on The Box Hits (that another channel) 3 music channels in all are off air, so you have something like the box hits-the box-kiss-magic-kerrang

aka right now its kiss-the box-kiss-the box-the box and all are next to each other.

Hope they get them fixed else 3 channels will be lost and we already lost a bunch of the best ones

Getting the music channels back online will be a far lower priority than restoring the main channels fully - the lack of subtitles on them is a far more pressing concern. It's an Ofcom requirement that these channels subtitle a certain percentage of their content and they're failing to achieve that.

Currently Channel no 358 got programmes aired from their sister channel The Box

Unfortunatley  there happened a fire incident almost two weeks ago at a media centre in London that these channels uses and because of this the channels normal service isn't running at present, more details can be found in this thread:

Kerrang still not on the air and still simulcasting the box almost three weeks now. They need to sort  this out.  Complacency will woo the day and we will lose kerrang forever if we don't keep on top of this issue and get it sorted soon.

I imagine that has occurred to them. Probably best to follow it up with Red Bee. There's little you can do to keep on top of the issue here as it's beyond Sky's control.

As I've mentioned elsewhere, after this length of time, I'd sugest the return of that channel to satellite broadcast is not inevitable, given the cost of maintaining such an operation for an ever diminishing audience.
