Re: BST TIME CHANGE PLEASE READ!!!

So really what your saying @StephenSky  is your mum isn't having an issue with sky?! Making your mum irrelevant to this conversation.

Re: BST TIME CHANGE PLEASE READ!!!

If my mum was paying 9.99 a month for Sky then it would be a minor inconvenience but she is not  she is paying £58

Re: BST TIME CHANGE PLEASE READ!!!

So @rscott (Oracle), Sky rely on Customers using 'Google search' themselves to find out the faults and resolutions on Sky?  I'm sorry, where was this communicated to customers because I missed it.  Many are not as IT literate as you or know the Sky ways of working (or not!).  There has to be a better way than this for Sky to communicate system issues to customers than just this method.

When there any major issues like this then this status page is where you should look:

https://www.sky.com/help/servicestatus/your-services/tv

As you can see it is going to be fixed by Thursday at the latest. In the meantime if you ignore the time the box is showing everything will function as normal including recording starting at the correct time.

Interseting response. So, if your mum had a puncture in a 10 year old Fiesta, it would be a minor inconvenience, but if she drove a £40,000 BMW and had a puncture, it would be worse? I fail to see what the 'monthly subscription' you are paying has anything to do with it...

Given that most posters find this forum via Google, it's not unreasonable to suggest that those same posters could find the status page by Googling too.

Sky have posted the same information on their Twitter account too.

Re: BST TIME CHANGE PLEASE READ!!!

Is my mum the only one having an issue with recording her programs because of the time? She is getting half of one program and half of the other?

Re: My sky hd is still showing the wrong time, are others still having this problem?

Not many really. 500 posts on here and counting. I have 500 emails telling me somebody has posted a message on here.  2 or 3 mails a week is the norm for me. This is sooooo exciting 😁

NOT!!!!

Re: BST TIME CHANGE PLEASE READ!!!

People go mental when Facebook or what's app goes down, something that's free. Yet my mum's sky goes down that's she is paying for and all you get told is chill it's only going to be for another day.....

She can still watch Sky and scheduled recordings will still work as normal, so her Sky isn't 'down'.

Re: BST TIME CHANGE PLEASE READ!!!

Yes Steven because it would cost less for a new tire on the 10k car then on the 40k car making it less of an inconvenience
