Are SKy just chipping away at people with sky + boxes in order to get is to upgrade to sky q and sky glass by removing certain things  that we used to get

ie new series in Top picks and now drlaying certain updates

Everyone just needs to be calm. As always, with so many sky products, they will get round to updating the Sky+ equipment eventually. Flaws like this will happen... and there is nothing we can do to force it to update the time zone correctly. Sky will resolve it. Mine has been an hour ahead all day yet the programming and recording has not been affected by this technological flaw. Don't worry, your programmes are safe. Check in the morning (1 November) to see if the update has been released overnight... just like your phone, it will be like magic and you never know if it's going to change or not.

Issue?? The clock displays an hour out - it still records perfectly, you can still watch whatever you want. Your life really that empty that this is an 'issue'? 😅

Apparently so but then it isn't causing any problems with recordings as they are starting on time so I don't see this a major issue.

I rebooted my tv too but it made no difference to the time. It is still incorrect!

@Dave+Ferguson  It's likely to require a software update patch for each box so they'll be done in batches over the next few days

Sky aren't doing it to force upgrades. Some people can't upgrade, much like myself, who are on a communal satellite. They still need to provide a service to us. It's not like I can just pick up the phone and demand an upgrade - I have to go through the estate management company to get this done, and trust me, the residents here where I live have been trying for 5 years to get Sky Q installed!

Rebooting your TV will make no difference, you need to reboot your SKY box! You need to reboot it 13 times in a row, on the 6th time, you need to chant the phrase, 'please work, please work', and clap your hands 3 times. That's how everyone else has fixed it, just read a few previous posts!

Sky are going to fix this @Heaven12 so there is nothing you can do so for now just ignore the time shown on your box as any recordings you have will start at the correct time, for example if you record a program that is due to start at 10.45pm, your box shows the time as 11.45pm the recording will start at 10.45pm.

For some reason, the IQ level of many posters on this thread has been laughable! It's very enjoyable extractng the michael from them as they appear to be too stupid to even notice! Great way to spend an evening. Oh darn, just realised, my Sky planner seems to be an hour out, anyone else having this issue?? 🤣😂🤣
