Is anyone else experiencing a problem with the time showing on EPG? It does appear that mine is 1 hour out. Any help resetting this would be very much appreciated.
Sorry @StephenSky, I just couldn't resist!! 😉.
If only I'd known forums were this entertaining 🤣

OK, I've read every post, so no insulting comments about not reading up on this thread thank you!
I am definitely not happy with Sky for not updating my Sky HD box with the correct time. As far as I can tell this is pure and simple incompetence, given that there has been no problem before over so many years. It's not like nobody knew it was coming, or it's a first roll-out. If Sky give an honest explanation for why it was unavoidable I am willing to listen,
People deserve reliability and quality of service if they pay for it, regardless of any disparaging remarks from those who deem a failed clock display unimportant.
Anyone who is a carer for someone who needs a little help to cope with everyday life, such as people with learning problems or perhaps those who may have suffered a stroke, should understand how important accurate timekeeping can be. There are also many people who struggle to cope day to day without any support and they may find all this very distressing, if not frightening. Some mental health issues rely on continuity and strictly adhered to times for daily routines, taking medication etc. Many of us use the clock on the info banner to keep track of the time, even more so for anyone with severely impaired mobility. Imagine a vulnerable person taking medication twice because they are confused by conflicting times. It may never happen (I hope), but no decent person would want it to happen.
I always kept this by my desk at work. It seems very appropriate here...

@Rosie+D ...... I can't understand that. We have 2 x Sky+HD boxes in our house, both have various preset programmes to record and seem to be working fine.
Would be interested in finding out from anyone else about your problem, and if there is a solution

Sky + box still hasn't changed time to an hour less. Why?

It's all to do with Brexit - apparently there is a clause that the UK forgot to sign up to giving us permission to use BST -1, and seeing as Sky use satellites which hover over EU terrtory we're currently in breach of an international treaty. It's all a dreadful mess, but don't worry. BoJo has promised to have a word in Macrons ear whilst they're all at that COP26 crap, should be sorted by Thursday...
