So, Sky reckon we're actually an hour closer to climate disaster than the general consensus? So glad Sky is not an airline with their useless IT employees/consultants. I pay them £86 pm fir this; not much longer.

It's very hard to believe or understand why 650 people have posted virtually the same messages on here without having a quick look at what's already been said. Those having a dig at Sky, expecting refunds or threatening to cancel their subscriptions etc. really do need a reality check. The fact the sky box is showing the time to be still showing BST is a very minor problem and does not stop anyone viewing whatever they wish. There are much more urgent and serious problems in the world than a wonky Sky clock.

The time on Sky+ boxes being out by an hour takes me back to December 1999 when we thought the world was going to come to an end as all the microchips would fail..... Arrrgghh, I hate PTSD

Yes, but was your post at 10:19pm or 11:19pm, cue the intro music to the X-Files, do do do do, do do do do

I haven't read all 44 pages of comments so don't know if anyone else pointed this out. In view of the current dispute with our Gallic neighbours over matters piscatorial, I do find it fishy that my Sky box is now showing French time.

It is called bad customer seervice. Until people started to notice the problem and contacted sky no one from sky had posted a notice of any problem on their site or emailed customers to keep them informed.

@StephenSky still going I see?! commenting on the many people who are unhappy with there service, probably thinking you will get a prise for being the biggest SKY lick **bleep** in the sky community! Maybe @StephenSky if you carry on licking they may drop the prise of your sky by £3 for a week before putting it back up by £10 lol

Yep, still going LOL However, I am amused at you calling me a 'Sky lickl' I have been with Sky since 1992, and can assure you there have been numerous times over the last 30 odd years where as a company, they have frustrated the h*ll out of me. I just find it futile for people to threaten to leave as their solution for getting a problem solved. It use to be a bargaining chip when negotiating a new contract, but increasing that doesn't work any longer.
Common sense tells you that a company with an annual turnover of £13 Billion + ain't going to care a fig if a subscriber 'threatens to leave'!
If you want to leave, just do it, but it's useless to use it as a threat to Sky, they don't care.

They told me I am a VIP. 😢

@StephenSky So when you were unhappy with your service did you have some sky brown nose telling you that your problem wasn't worth talking about? Coz that would be really irritating! Lol

My (Sky) broadband went down during lockdown 1, actually just phoning Sky was a major issue but on eventually getting through, the person that dealt with the issue was superb. I was back up & running by the end of the day. I also have examples of when a breakdown of service was handled atrociously, however, I have always stuck with them. The old phrase, 'beter the devil you know'... comes to mind. Also, if anyone thinks that Virgin doesn't have any similar issues is deluded. All companies handle stuff good and bad, it's all a coin toss...

I'm sorry, but I do not understand how a minor issue such as a clock still showing BST instead of GMT can result in near apoplectic anger from so many. Given that so many programmes are now available to watch again via streaming services I just cant understand why people are getting so angry over it.

So what your saying is you had issues, you complained you got it sorted?. This is exactly what everyone is trying to do here @StephenSky but you keep sliding in with your unhelpful comments. I don't even have sky! I just have to sort it out for my Mum who doesn't use the Internet and because Sky is all she known doesn't wasn't to change..... This doesn't mean she should have to put up a crap service. She can not record programs because of the time change. Just for the record has it been fixed?

No... Sky has stated a Thursday deadline.
