Well, I sure hope this thread isn't being monitored by aliens, otherwise, the lack of intelligence displayed here will tell them that the Earth is ripe for the taking, and we're all doomed! LOL

Re: BST TIME CHANGE PLEASE READ!!!
@Anonymous I think you may still be okay, as I am watching programes now that are showing an hour ahead so like I have told my mum, who is 86, just record as normal but watch out for the red light coming on your box to show something is recording either that, or if you are at home, just quickly switch on to the channel you are wanting to record and if it starts press record button. This is all I can think of.
Good luck

Re: BST TIME CHANGE PLEASE READ!!!
The PC one is interesting. It implies the recording start/end time settings were saved after conversion to the PC's local time.
for those worried when reading the planner, setting recordings etc, try either of the following
- ignore real time and just enter sky time: use the planner as normal, as if the clocks hadn't changed yet
- imagine every hour number you see on the sky interface as that number minus one. That includes any hours shown on either the clock or the timeline, and continue as normal

Re: BST TIME CHANGE PLEASE READ!!!
The time on my box is still an hour ahead. These people who say it doesn't affect nothing is nonsense. I had a reminder for a program and when it come up the program had just finished.

My Sky box hasn't noticed that the clocks changed last night. Any one else got this issue?
Clocks in the UK all went back last night
BUT My Sky+ box programme guide thinks it is an hour later than it really is! Still getting reception and recordings are working properly (on a "wrong" schedule) but it is very confusing to see the wrong time shown on the guide.
Is this just because I have a very old box and they have forgotton to apply the end of BST change to my version of the guide? Or is Sky telling me it likes the European decision to stop daylight saving and it's carrying on with the clock settings that were right yesterday regardless of the fact that for the rest of the UK the time has changed?

Re: BST TIME CHANGE PLEASE READ!!!
@Anonymous as far as I'm aware it shouldn't have an impact but just to be safe maybe set up to record the programs again that you want recorded.
Always looking for a good deal

Re: BST TIME CHANGE PLEASE READ!!!
Interesting that the reminder is set using 'planner time' but triggered using 'real time'. I guess when the code was written no one thought those would ever be different.
pretty sure recording times are both set and triggered by 'planner time' since they're still working (or at least are doing on my sky hd box).
