Re: A Positive Review

Even sky showcase and max will record! - I find the cloud recording and the apps (apart from channel 4) to be exactly what I expected and a joy to use.

I came from Q and don't miss a local hard drive at all, maybe when channel 4 sort themselves out it will be perfect as currently I'd give an 8/10

Its not possible to record locally on Sky Glass. It is possible for Sky Glass to create a cloud recording of content from channels that do not have an app for catchup/on demand. An image i posted earlier has proven this.

When Sky Glass shows a recording, it means that the content is being stored on Sky's servers and that's where it will come from when it's played. it will not be coming through some app.

Re: A Positive Review

They are not stored on servers. The playlist take you to that channels catch up service. Ie: iPlayer. ITV hub etc. There are plenty of videos on YouTube that explains this. Not sure why I'm getting involved as Ive got Sky Q which I regard as superior. Anyway I'm done on this subject.

The photo posted by @Jayboy1990 shows a recording from Comedy Channel. There is no Comedy Channel app. So yes, it will work as though it was a recording.

Re: A Positive Review

The solution to the Playlist issue is to treat each channel as though no app exists and then it will work as it was explained originally and as everyone expects.
