I noticed my bill as £188.00 and phoned sky to dispute and was told that they were incorrect charges and they wont try to debit my account. Sky still tried to debit the 188£ regardless of what i was told. Now my account has been suspended without notice? I want to know how to get ahold of these **bleep**????

If your services are restricted a call to Sky will usually prompt you to pay first. Before Sky reinstate your services you will have to pay what you owe and also set up a new continuous payment method. If your payment is two or more weeks overdue you will also have to pay the next bill as well.
[Depending on your previous payment history you may be able to pay all but £25 which will then be added to your next bill, although this does NOT apply for a Sky Mobile restriction].
If you can’t pay it all in one go you can pay what you want, when you want, but until the bill is paid off in full Sky will not reinstate your services. Sky don't allow payment plans on overdue live accounts, nor will they consider promises to pay.
Once your payment has cleared and is in Sky’s account your services should be reinstated, but be aware this may not be instant. Once you’ve done all this, if you have a query regarding your bill/payments you can then contact Sky and discuss it.

Youre not understanding. I was told by someone i spoke to over the phone at sky that what i was seeing was an incorrect bill and therefore the amount shown was not supposed to be paid, also the amount that it was showing was almost twice the amount my bill is usually. When trying to query the bill i was told it was a mistake and wouldnt be debited from my account. Even though they still tried to debit it and my account has now been suspended. I refuse to pay the bill until i can speak to somebody and query it. It makes zero sense.

Then you will never get your services restored. It might be an incorrect bill but it will need paying then Sky will credit the incorrect amount back to you as that is the way it works no matter if you agree with it rt not.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@daniel487987 You've posted in a Public forum, so you won't get a direct response from a Sky employee, the information provided to you by @caesarome & @Daniel0210 is correct.

I'm afraid you won't be able to speak to a staff member on the forum. This is a customer helps customer forum. The correct advice has been provided by myself and @caesarome

But why would i pay for something i dont even subscribe to anymore? I cancelled Sky broadband two months ago. Why am i still being billed for it? And why is my bill all of a sudden doubled? WHY WOULD I PAY FOR THAT???

But i've seen sky employees on these forums?
08 Apr 2023 04:35 PM

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@daniel487987 while understanding your frustration, we're a customer Community and it's unlikely that Sky will contact you via a forum post. The practicalities are that it wil be inordinately difficult for you to speak to Sky while your services are restricted. The best forward is to pay what Sky say you owe, even though you know ot's imcorrect. They will, of course, refund you if, as you say, they've made an error.

You failed to mention that is your opening post so when you cancelled it did you get sent an email after you put your notice in to cancel ?

They can only deal with certain issues and cancelled or not accounts like yours isn't one of them.
