Phone call regarding 30% discount

I have just received a phone call stating there is an offer of 30% discount on my monthly bill? 
it was a mobile number that the call came from.

No non, i questioned how it worked and they said they would call back later. I got suspicious when they did not know how much I pay monthly.

Sky wouldn't call you from a mobile number and if they were to call you they would ask you to confirm what your telephone password is and I doubt the scammers asked you for this. If they did and you suspect it wasn't from Sky then give them a wrong one to see what they then say. If they continue with the call then you would know it isn't Sky calling as they wouldn't do this.

I had one yesterday from an 07368 number. First one ever on my mobile I think. Female caller said the same. I told her she'd rung me on my work phone (it wasn't) which was issued by the local police force (which it isn't) so I asked her how did she know I was a Sky customer. She hung up 😂

They don't - they just ring numbers until they find a victim.  I get similar calls claiming they are from various companies...

they just try their luck I think don't they! I will be telling them where to go if/when they ring back.

Just recieved a call in heavily Indian accented English from an 07359 number. Told me they were running a promotion for 30% off my bill. Asked me how much my bill was per month. I said to her that she should know that as she called me. She said they had to validate me first as the account holder. I said that she called me so she know who I was and have the information in front of her. She could read it to me and I would tell her if she was correct. She then hung up. Definitely a scam so please be careful.

I have these calls purporting to be from Vodafone claiming I can have a reduction on my bill, when I say I'm not with that company they then ask who I'm with. Not today I'm not.

I now have Trucaller free on my phone & while it doesn't block these calls it does show whether the call is scam/spam, business, charity etc so I can decide whether to answer or not.

I've had this every day for the past week from 07359 numbers today was the first time I answered as I thought it was odd I was getting so many calls from the same number... annoying!

Ok so, just had this call about 30 minutes ago not from a Mobile number but froma London based number.  A guy claiming that Sky are offering a 30% discount on my account as loads of customers have complained about the price. Now the strangest thing about this call is he was able to tell me what i last payed on my last bill and that they were offering me a 30% discount for 6 months then they would call me back to ask me what i thought of Sky. Red Flags on this especiallly as he said I dont need to do anything i have all your details in front of me all you need to do is say yes. while I was talking i did a number check and the number came back as an O2 scam as well and money was taken from that customer. I have called Sky and alerted them to this. They are going to investigate.
