So basically my mobile bill is supposed to go out at a certain time in the month every month, but it doesn't. When they attempt to then try and take payment sometimes I don't have enough money in my account. They should be taking the payment on the day they say.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Faithford Sky will take payment on or around the due date, if that's a weekend then they take payment the next working day normally.
Have you checked you have the correct date setup in your Sky account?

It usually is a lot longer than a few days and usually is on a week day. It's frustrating as when they do decide to take the money out it isn't there.

As noted, it can be several days later - always on a weekday and sometimes even a little later for bank holidays.
Failed collections are reattempted 10 days later.
