Missed payment

Hi I have missed a payment and received an email from sky to say they where going to try again on the 8th or after but my card has been cloned so I have had to cancel it so I am now unsure on how I can make the payment as I have no card and my account has been froze until I receive the new card.

@Lydia97  If you make payment via card and not direct debit Sky only attempt payment once , given this attempt has occurred and failed your services are likely to be restricted in the coming days meaning you will need to make a manual payment and at the same time setup a new continuous card payment before services are restored

If you have been told Sky will try to take it again then if you pay by direct debit you card plays no part in it as the payment is taken directky from your bank account

If your bank account has been frozen because of fraudulent activity related to your debit card, then yes, you'll need to find another way of paying - perhaps a friend or family member could use their card to make the payment?

 

A problem with a credit card would have no impact on your bank account.
