I’ve escalated your post to Sky and their Messaging Team should contact you later (but more likely tomorrow now).
You need to watch out for a post from one of the team inviting you to a private chat and then you should see a blue/red speech bubble at the bottom of your forum page. You’ll have 48 hours to click on it and start the private chat or it will close automatically. If you fail to respond to a chat reply within 48 hours the chat will again close down automatically even if your issue hasn’t been resolved. Replies from Sky aren’t instant so you’ll need to check the chat thread fairly regularly.
This link explains what happens.

We can't arrange a chat until you see credit on your account which I take it you don't ?

I cancelled Sky Broadband and kept Sky Stream TV. My bill dated 8 May 2024 is showing 16.16 of credit.
Can I just get this refunded into my bank?

So it sounds like you made an unnecessary manual payment. If you have a continuous payment method set up you should never need to make a manual payment. I would recommend not making manual payments unless requested to by Sky.
If you've already called Sky I would expect the refund to be made within the standard 3-5 working days so probably by the weekend.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIs this as the result of leaving Sky broadband? If so, refunds can take up to 6 weeks from your last day of connection providing the payment method is still active on your Sky account. This will be longer if the payment method has been cancelled as Sky will have to manually raise a cheque and post it to you.
If you’d rather, we can help get it refunded within 3-5 working days via the Messaging Team on here. Let us know on this thread if that’s what you want to do.
