Change the name of the main account holder - without losing my 22 years membership

I want to change the main account holders name from my ex partner who left my property 9 years ago - and has subsequently taken out his own new sky contract in his wifes name. I want to remove his name from my contract and change to mine without losing my 22 years benefits. 

The address is unchanged and all billing details are unchanged

Sky don't allow change of accountholder I'm afraid.

This can not be done as Sky does not allow account names to be changed. The only way round it would be for the account holder to call Sky and cancel and once this has happened you can sign up as a new customer.

... and unfortunately lose the 22 years of continuous service which to be honest isn't worth a lot as length of service doesn't come into when it comes to discounts etc

I need to change the bill payer and contact details to someone else who is not an account holder. How do I do this ?

you can't change the account holder name

@Claire00001 you can change your payment details via the Bills section of your online account here: https://www.sky.com/bill

 

As accountholder you remain responsible for seeing that payment is made on time and for any debt if it isn't. 

 

You can change contact details here: https://www.sky.com/mydetails

 

However I wouldn't recommend doing so as you're still responsible for the account. No other party will be able to cancel.
