Being harassed by text messages!
‎22 Sep 2024 10:12 AM
I'd like to know if anyone else on here has had the same issue that I'm currently having? Back in July I called customer services to question how much I was paying per month? Which in my opinion was very high.
After talking to a helpful member of the team he went through every part of my account breaking it down and reducing costs, from Skytv, Sky call and sky broadband. Ever since that day I have been harassed with text messages demanding I send my equipment back?
Here's where I struggle with things! I was still paying a multi room subscription but I was being told to send my mini boxes back? So after 2 weeks of text messages I called customer services and explained the situation and they told me it would be sorted and to ignore any other messages.
The messages kept coming to return the said equipment so as instructed I ignored them, until yesterday when I received a new message telling me as I hadn't returned the said equipment I was going to be charged for them on my next bill?
Now at this point I'd like to point out whenever I call Sky I get complimented on being a vip customer of over 25 and this is how you get treated?
Now to make matters even worse I've spoken to another member of the team today who tells me that she can see what's gone wrong and she will sort it? I was put on hold for 10 minutes ish while she sorted the said situation, after that time yes she has sorted the problem but because it takes time to go through the system I may still pay for this equipment on my bill? And if this happens I have to phone back again to get it sorted?
Im sorry but this situation has been caused by Sky but I'm the one that suffers, someone please explain to me how in todays world this is possible?
