The channel operator That's TV, closed the channel on 30th July.

This decision was made by operator, and outside of Sky's control. It follows That's TV closing their other linear channels, That's Tv 2, That's TV 3, and the music channels they operated

That's TV was a Free To Air channel,  a Sky subscription wasn't required.

Ignore the wrong date…

Wednesday 30th July 2026

  • Sky Pitch Perfect (Satellite 303 - Sky Glass/Stream 303) changes name to Spider-Man HD (temporary change)
  • That's TV (Satellite 171) closes permanently

That's tv disappeared

Does anyone know why That's tv is no longer on Sky? This is a free view channel and my husband watches it all the time. Why has it gone?

@Eileen_33

It was pulled by the channel owners as they are apparently in financial difficulties.

That's TV have removed all their channels from Sky, Freesat and Virgin as apparently they are in financial difficulties and can no longer afford it. For now it is still available on Freeview only.

It's not an irrational choice for a channel owner to end satellite broadcast (which is an expensive way to reach an ever-shrinking audience) and prioritize terrestrial or online distribution, particularly if their operation is struggling financially.

Also note that Sky itself has never owned the orbiting platforms and only collects a standard EPG listing fee: data transit cost is paid by channels to SES.
