I have to say this years coverage of The Masters by Sky is shocking to say the least!!!!!!!
why aren't we seeing the field of golfers? Why are we just seeing the top 6 on the leaderboard? And why are we seeing so many (Removed) adverts!!!
I have been watching this tournament for 30 years and this is the (Removed) one yet!!!
Sky give it back to the BBC (Removed)
what did we expect though????

Sky wasn't allowed to start live coverage until 7.30. So it doesn't matter who is playing

All round terrible coverage by sky, you would think that there were only 2 players in the world of golf. Tiger woods and Rory mclroy, i dont particularly want to watch a guy at 11 over plodding around a golf course. get rid of mcginley dougherty, and Harmon. Rich beem nick faldo and wayne riley know what they are talking about, leave them too it. This red button lark is total rubbish. I remember when BBC had the golf, and it was solid golf shots all day.

Think I might be giving up my Sky Sports subscription soon - not been impressed by the coverage for some time now.

So out of date. Lacks passion and tension

Hi
enjoying the PGA golf coverage on sky sports. The only question I have is to ask what Laura Davies brings to the commentary team? If it's a good shot she says that was a good shot if it's a missed putt she says he missed that one and so on. No facts or figure no background info no nothing - all in a tedious monotone - quite honestly a monkey could do the job she does. Have I missed something here?

Something for the ladies. Inclusivity ?? perhaps

I am Scottish and must state how horrible a voice Iona Stephen's has. She also does not know when no comment is necessary. I'm afraid she makes me switch off.

I want to watch golf, not breaking coverage to the studio all too often to listen to Nick Docherty waffle on about imponderables in the round coming up. It's not interesting, delivery boring, please simply concentrate on the golf.
thanks

hi @Nick1954
I know it is annoying but I think you may find that a lot of the return to Studio (or leaderboards) is to cover the even more frequent advert breaks that the host Feeds from the USA have

To be fair it's a difficult job presenters and pundits in that kind of long-format sport have (similarly with NFL), where they need to fill a lot of breaks - fair play to them for thinking of wnough to talk about, every now and then there's bound to be a bit of tedium.

I am relieved to read the previous contributions and responses to know I am not alone. Clearly the majority feel the same as I in terms of the general coverage, in essence, not enough golf. Perhaps I should have read this site before I fired off my comments.
I guess we are at the mercy of the US broadcasters focusing on US players, the frequency of commercial breaks, and sadly the all too dull presentation of some of the Sky team, specifically those named earlier.
With that in mind will Sky avoid all of the above when they are in charge at The Open championship, but just focus on the golf with the odd break for a summary of the leaderboard?
could SKY respond directly?

No, as this is a public forum of Sky customers.
The only way you are likely to get any response ( although likely it will just be a generic thanks for your feedback response) is to email the Viewer Relations Team at viewerR@sky.uk
