Re: Sky nfl coverage...

GMFB was scheduled to be on today as I had it set to record.

For whatever reason they changed it to yesterday's PFT.

I emailed them to ask what is going on but not expecting anything helpful back.

Re: Sky nfl coverage...

Don't forget you can watch all 48 preseason games for free on DAZN starting tonight.

I've had a DAZN subscription for quite a few years so I don't know if it's free free or just free with a standard DAZN monthly subscription. I know last year you could just sign up for a free account without entering any card details and watch everything.

I wouldn't take this as gospel but...
I thought the NFL was on Channel 5 in the UK... or is that just some kind of highlights show thing?
I'm... "backward"... so I don't know and I did look it up but no answers available that I could comprehend. I guess we might just have to wait and find out.

@TeamStark2905

Realistically a free to air channel is very unlikely to be able to afford the buying price for anything but limited match coverage.

The NFL itself currently posts this:

@TeamStark2905 Not officially confirmed but reports are channel 5 only having one Sunday 6pm game a week plus a redzone type show to cover the rest, with sky still expected to show the bulk of the other games

Currently watching the pre season game on 412 and whilst epg still says sky sports action the on screen dog is the sky sports NFL one

So the sky sports nfl brand might still be in use in some form

Re: Sky nfl coverage...

Well after all the speculation it looks like we've been wasting our time as it seems nothing has changed 😂

I have it on good authority that Sky will continue showing NFL as normal. ITV will have their Friday night show and Channel 5 will show a few Monday night games.

Re: Sky nfl coverage...

Doesn't look the Sky Sports NFL branded channel is coming back as a rebrand of Sky Sports Action  and will just stay as Sky Sports Action.

I guess they also need the space and want to use Sky Sports Mix less
