Does anyone know why you cannot get a complete list of films available on SKY Cinema. The categories do not show all the movies available. And before anyone says "you can search for a movie", that is not as useful as looking at a complete lit and chosing what I want to watch.

Full list available on my Sky+HD Box.
Do the "newer" "better" boxes not have this feature?

For sky q, there is an a-z option.
It's long (and in alphabetical order)

Re: Above in bold. I wish Sky would come up with a better way on Sky Q of showing that A - Z list ( plus films with numerical titles at the beginning ). It is far too long to scroll through. Why can't it be broken up into sections, for example, all the numerical titles in one block, then films beginning A - F, followed by G - L, M - R & finishing with S - Z. Then you could use the keypad on the remote to access which block you want. Of course, this isn't for someone who simply wants to browse the entire list, but it would be a much quicker way if you are looking for a specific title.
Edit: Forget the remote keypad idea. Instead, Sky could implement the alphabet blocks themselves on their menu under All.

Is there no Search option within the list like there is on Sky+ ?

There is.
You can either use voice search for specific titles or if as sometimes happens, voice search can not understand my incomprehensible irish accent, there is the text search using keys on the remote
Voice search works for film titles, actor & director names or can also help with topics/genres.
Saying "Christmas movies" brings up Christmas movies from the various sources, sky cinema, sky store., disney+, linear channels etc etc

@oj01 This is the menu you see on Sky Q when you click on Sky Cinema.

Wish sky stream had same options, especially the All option.
It is what it is, but even my days of being an IT consultant I could have come up with something much more user friendly.
Sky's take "we advertise over 1000 movies, but we're not showing you what they are unless you know the names to search by"
