New to sky

OK would I need a special antenna to set up sky or do I just plug the box in?

Sky Q is a satellite television platform and requires a cable feed from a satellite dish (either individual or communal)

 

Sky Stream gets its content online: although it has an aerial socket for digital terrestrial reception this isn't in use in the UK.

 

Either system has no functionality without a Sky content subscription.

@AAhad  Which TV box do you have@  Sky Q  or SKy Stream?

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
