Not that sure the way to see extra info has changed much, but it seems every title has a large heads up title displayed now.

There is though now a more expansive credit, cast, genres etc info, per programme.

On any programme tile, select it, do not hit play or resume button, scroll down to 'Credits and more info'  and select either Cast, Genres etc

  @lettice  I'm sure that what you are referring to - the cast list - was there before the new UI arrived. Also, where is the other information that NF is talking about: Preview a title’s synopsis, runtime, award wins, Top 10 history ? I can't see it. But the one thing NF users hate is the automatic playing of a programme or film. They have a Play button that the user can click on in their own time, but instead, they start playing it for us. I know why they do it, but they should listen to their customers & stop it.

Re: Netflix

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

@Mr+Ripley

On the upfront tile, the detail is now within or directly below the larger  tile, showing if it's a top 10, liked, awards etc.

For films and series, below the upfront tile it shows the synopsis, dates and timings more upfront now. Series does not tend to have the running time, obviously.

That is how it describes it to me

The cast, director, writer , genres etc was there a little before, it's now appearing in a lot more detail across multiple assets.

.

I have my previews turned off, as I mentioned above and it stops them playing as you scroll on my Sky Stream.

  @lettice  Okay, I see it now, but having seen it, wasn't that information available before, but maybe in a different place? In which case, why are NF putting out blurbs making it sound like it's all shiny & new?
