These were readily available on demand for those who wanted their golf or f1 fix

Perhaps worth noting that F1 rights cost Sky around two hundred million pounds a season and the Premiership is around ten times that price at over two billion pounds....

So you don't watch all the inane chatter abount football before or after the actual 90 mins?

I don't either, I tune it at whatever the kick off time is, channels surf at halftime then tune back in for the second half as I have no interest whatsoever of what these "experts" are saying. It goes without saying I don't watch the build up or the after match reaction.

Neither do I

Even when the Championship team I follow are on live I switch on/over 5-10 mins before kick off and off/over 5 or so mins after the final whistle.

Because it was live on demand is for content that has already been broadcast live

What about the red button then? That shows live stuff.

Re: Football encroaching everywhere!!

Agreed, Syk Sports+ with the red button gives at least parallel streams, so why the need to steal other channels.

The three or four football channels with red buttons would give at lease 12 football stream.

Then customers with sky plus hardware would miss out because the hardware doesn't support red button functionality anymore

Hi all,

We really appreciate you taking the time to share this with us on the Sky Community!

Having checked with the right teams, there will be occasions throughout the Premier League season where multiple football games will be kicking off in the 2pm Sunday slot. In these instances, other Sky Sports channels will be used to ensure the best coverage. This will only happen in season, but I can reassure it will not impact your prime viewing experience on the sports you enjoy.

@Skylar2

As soon as the live football 2pm kick offs have ended it will revert to cricket type programmes (at 4.30pm). No doubt the same on Sky Golf.

There is no live cricket to show.
