I am now having the very same issue telling me it could not connect via the internet.  It's Saturday 16:30 and I cannot connect to Apple TV via Sky... help me please.  I am not technically savvy either!! Thank you

Sky has confirmed it is a technical issue and may be resolved tonight or tomorrow.  Ignore the no internet connection issue.... it is not the reason. Good luck Sky and hope you get us all back on line soon.

Thank you for confirming. I have the same issue. As a workaround until this is resolved, I have logged in to Apple TV on my phone and set up screen sharing on my TV. Hope this helps for others.

My apple app is not working on my sky tv,

Apple TV app not working on Sky Q

On the Apple TV app on sky Q, since yesterday, it says "could not connect to Apple TV. Check your internet connection and try again". There is nothing wrong with my internet connection. I have restarted it and the sky q box. I can get Apple TV on my iPad and on my TV but not through the sky q box. Photo of screen. I cannot see what else I can do,

We have the same issue. Was working during the day yesterday but stopped working by the evening. Please sort Sky!

My Apple TV is still not working on Sky although other apps are. I've re-booted the Sky Q box but it hasn't helped.

Thanks, spent many hours last night and today rebooting and reconnecting the devices all way above my technical competence. Hopefully the Sky folks shall resolve the issue and there is a simple solution with minimal action required from me.

Okay I have an update. I just complained to Sky on the number they provide to raise a complaint (They won't let me post the number so you can get to it by going into help, select to view all our help articles, your account, making a complaint). They acknowledged there's a problem between Sky and Apple that they are trying to get resolved. The chap said they hope to fix it in the next 48 hours. They told me they'd had at least 50 calls with the same problem.

So went out for the afternoon having done all the resets, Apple TV is now back on both box's. 🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️
