Apple TV app not working

My Apple TV is not working. All of the others are and Apple works on other devices. The message on the TV screen says suggests I check my internet connection. It's fine!

 

I've tried turning off/on, unplugging, but still no good. Any ideas!

I have exactly the same problem. Sky Q box has the Apple TV issue, all other devices OK.

Anyone know if Sky are onto this?

Same issue as others. Watched Apple TV fine on Friday afternoon and then the connection error last night and still there now. After done all the resets suggested

 

Like others, can get Apple TV on my mini sky Q box in another room. 

 

  • Come on Sky & Apple, GET THIS SORTED.

Mines not working either!! Same issues as everyone else - say no internet connection and when i run a speed test I'm getting 804 mbps.

All other apps are working - Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney etc just Apple TV which isnt working.

I have raised it as an issue in the Superusers forum, there is not much else we can do currently as we are customers like you.

Discussion topic:Apple TV not connecting to internet on Sky Q- all other apps working

Can't access Apple TV on Sky Q since yesterday was working fime 2 days ago.

I  have refreshed the app and rebooted the Sky Q box and router

Apple tv works fine on all other devices.

Any ideas

Same problem here , my sons LG TV is also experiencing this issue which indicates its a problem beyond Sky?

I've gone onto apple support and chat and raised a ticket with them

(added spaces as Sky sees this as potentially personal information)

If any of you are able to go onto apple support and explain that you are also impacted by the Apple TV to SkyQ connectivity issue, they make actually take note that it's not an issue with my account or my internet/tv, but impacting more than me.

 

The more people that do, the more likely they will look into it as a priority.
