My broadband is working fine however i cannot make or recieve calls on my land line have done all the steps to rectify the problem what now!

First try the connection test here, even though your broadband is ok. If it detects a problem you'll be able to book an engineer there and then. Otherwise it will need to be reported to Sky. If you wish we can ask the Messaging team to contact you here via a private online chat so that you can do that.

HI Mark39, I have the same problem, but i can ring out but not receivr land line calls. I have discussed this on here in another chat thread, but I am replying here because as you suggested to someone else I tried the line tester etc and it comes up all good with no issues and a good line speed. I joined sky BB last Thursday 5th october and my land line has not worked since. I left bt, also had a bt phone and ans phone thought that might be the problem so have brought a new phone set up today 10/10/23 but still no joy unable to receive calls. when I spoke to sky about this last sunday 8th october he tried everything getting me to activate deactivate things but nothing, and its the same today with new phone. One strange thing though when he (the man from sky) tried my landline it rang and we spoke so why can i or anyone else get through? seeing as the sky man did manage to get through could it be something to do with talk sheild? although he got through with it activated and deactivated, so a total mystery to me.

Is the 'Voice' light amber or green? Try restarting your Hub (again?) by switching off at the plug for 30 seconds or so.

@Mark39Thank you for your suggestions but now sorted, had engineer come today and it was all down to bt not doing there job properly but now sorted thanks.

@painter07Clearly by what you are saying there is an obvious line fault, I would suggest calling sky, or one of the senior users esculate this to sky.
