Upgrade to Fibre

Hi 

 

help needed - I'm looking at upgrading to Fibre with my existing sky contract. We have phone/ TV and broadband with sky for 11 years and had the existing landline number for 30 years. We are now being told that if we upgrade we lose our landline number and will receive a new number. I do not want this and all other competitors have advised I can keep my existing phone number. Has anyone else had this experience? As 2 agents provided me with 2 different pieces of information

There have been similar experiences reported here. If keeping your number is an absolute must I'd tread cautiously.
