Had sky talk/broadband activated yesterday. Trying the landline and there's no dial tone (just a continuous beep). If I call my landline number from my phone it rings but there's no response on the landline itself. I've tried the help menu but this isn't resolved. Any ideas?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreFirst, is your phone plugged into your broadband Hub? It won't work from a wall socket. It can take up to 24 hours for activation of the phone service to complete.

Aha! That was the bit I missed! I had it plugged into the wall. Now it's in the hub it's working correctly! Thank you!
